작품 뒤의 마음
열일곱 살에 매트릭스를 처음 봤습니다. 무언가가 깨졌습니다. 총알 타임이 아니라 떨어지는 초록 코드. 현실 자체가 문자 체계일 수도 있다는 생각. 20년이 지나, 저만의 비를 만들었습니다. 남의 코드가 아니라, 제 글자로, 저만의 속도로 떨어지는 비.

어떻게 생각했나
작품 뒤의 사고
모든 문명은 자기 자신을 세상에 적습니다. 어떤 문명은 돌에 새기고, 어떤 문명은 종이에 찍고, 어떤 문명은 픽셀로 송출합니다. 코드는 그 가장 최근의 동사일 뿐입니다. 한 문화가 떨어지는 모습은 어떨까. 짓는 것도, 도착하는 것도 아닌, 그저 한 겹 한 겹 떨어지면서 사라지지 않으려는 모습.
