왜 만들었나
작품 뒤의 마음
중학생 때 손가락이 부러졌습니다. 마디가 끝내 똑바로 붙지 않았어요. 수십 년을 그걸 숨기려 했습니다. 30대가 되어 그만뒀습니다. 제가 사랑하는 모든 예술가에게 어딘가 비뚤어진 것이 있다는 걸 알아채기 시작했거든요. 한글 안의 글리치, 오타, 오류, 같은 종류의 아름다움이었습니다.

어떻게 생각했나
작품 뒤의 사고
글리치는 시스템이 자기 자신을 드러내는 순간입니다. 완벽함은 구조를 숨깁니다. 오류는 그것을 드러냅니다. 이 작품은 한글을 망가진 언어로 다루지 않습니다. 자기가 어떻게 작동하는지, 어디서 떨리는지, 어디서 찢어지는지, 어디서 잊고 다시 기억하는지 정직한 언어로 다룹니다.
