왜 만들었나
작품 뒤의 마음
수년간의 무료 작업 끝에, 첫 클라이언트가 5천만원 커미션에 'yes'를 한 그날 밤 만든 작품입니다. 안에서 무언가가 폭발했어요. 기쁨도, 안도도 아니었습니다. 그저 갑작스러운, 운동성을 가진 허락. 그 폭발에 형태를 주고 싶었습니다.

어떻게 생각했나
작품 뒤의 사고
폭발이란, 마침내 방향을 찾은 에너지입니다. 너무 오래 가둬두면 그릇을 깹니다. 이 작품의 각 한글 글자는 결정의 속도로 중심을 떠나는 파편입니다. 파괴는 없습니다. 오직 풀려남만이.
