왜 만들었나
작품 뒤의 마음
색은 감정이 눈에 보이게 되는 방식입니다. 내가 느끼는 것을 말로 옮길 수 없었던 순간들, 오직 색으로만 남아 있던 순간들을 위해 만든 작품입니다. 부드러운 파란 슬픔. 따뜻한 호박색의 감사. 예고 없이 솟아오르는 기쁨의 붉은 기.

어떻게 생각했나
작품 뒤의 사고
현실의 색에는 경계가 없습니다. 번지고, 숨 쉬고, 다음 색으로 피어나고, 흰 공간으로 흩어집니다. 이 작품은 색을 라벨이 아니라 상태로 다룹니다. '여기는 빨강, 저기는 파랑' 같은 건 없습니다. 오직 천천히 되어 가는 일만 있을 뿐입니다.

당신이 느끼길 바라는 것
앉아서 생각하는 자리에 두세요. 책 읽는 코너, 명상 공간 같은 곳. 색이 당신을 찾아오게 두세요. 어떤 날은 파란빛이 보일 거고, 어떤 날은 따뜻한 호박색이 떠오를 거예요. 작품을 보는 게 아니라, 이미 당신 안에 있는 것을 보는 일입니다.
